Different muscles: You are using completely different muscles when you walk vs. A kick motion. Some muscle or ligament/tendon is irritated. Best to see a physical therapist, ortho/bone doc or sports medicine doc who with physical exam can pinpoint which ones are the culprits and then what treatments would be best to relieve your pain. (no need to amputate a left leg if the right leg causes the pain!) lol.
