Possibly: Nasal sores sounds like nasal colonization and infection with staphylococcus aureus. This could be methicillin sensitive mssa or methicillin resistant mrsa. A nasal culture would confirm the diagnosis and the exact organism. It could be treated with intranasal bactroban(mupirocin) ointment and hibiclens soap showers and shampoos. If this doesn't work there are oral antibiotics that can be used.
