Progesterone: Progesterone has been shown to have some benefit in preventing preterm labor, but more history is needed to determine whether you are the right candidate or not. You will eventually need to talk to your obgyn.

Prog for preterm: There are some studies that suggest that if you have a prior preterm birth, and you take Progesterone injections weekly from 16-20 weeks until 37 weeks, your risk of a subsequent preterm birth is 30% lower than if you don't get progesterone. You should discuss your specific history with your obgyn to see what they recommend.
