Pain in pregnancy : Discomfort in early pregnancy is almost universal. Most patients complain about this although there's not usually a clear-cut cause. The only way to answer if this is normal is for you to schedule a visit with the doctor for a physical exam and possibly an ultrasound.

See your Ob: Ligament strain on the uterus can cause pelvic pain in pregnancy but this is a diagnosis of exclusion, please see your OB & get checked out with an exam and possibly a sonogram
