Ask ur OrthopedicDoc: Whenever considering a procedure, be sure to tell your doc about any goals or deadlines that you might have coming up. Ask about expectations, pain (control), functional limitations, side effects, complications, etc. The best person to give you answers is surgeon who's going to operate on you, not someone on internet. Get a second opinion if you have time. Most clavicle fractures don't need surger.
