Yesterday i was vomiting green bile and have had diarrhea with it since sunday evening. my abdomen hurts very badly. er doctor said it was uti. what's wrong?

Could be UTI, but...: Bile is typically a golden yellow to green color. It mixes with food to help digest dietary fats. When bile backs up into the stomach, it may appear in your vomitus. Lots of common things can cause bilary emesis and affect GI function (causing altered stooling) but if persistent, worsening, or associated with pain, tenderness, weight loss, blood then please have it further evaluated by your doc.
