A 33-year-old male asked:
Doc is testing tsh, t3 (liothyronine), (liothyronine) t4, free t3 (liothyronine), (liothyronine) free t4, and reverse t3 (liothyronine). are there other tests that should be done at the same time as these tests for thyroid?

Too many tests: The only ones you really need are free T4 and tsh. The others are a waste of blood any money, and may lead to incorrect conclusions about your thyroid status.
