Female Anatomy: I think it is normal to wonder and/ or worry. Your gynecologist should be made aware of your strong family history of this situation. They will determine the best route for you if and when you get pregnant.

Not necessary: There's possiblility because of genetic, but not always has the same problem need c- section. If you are pregnant please follow up with your doctor to get a regular check up and your doctor can determine c- section is indicated or not.

Personal choice: Pregnancy and not just delivery method impacts pelvic support. A study done at madigan army medical center several years ago demonstrated evidence of prolapse from the first OB appointment to the time of delivery. Unfortunately, a cesarean section will not necessarily prevent pelvic prolapse.
