Irregular means....: Nope. Irregular means just that: the menstrual period is different than usual for you. Irregular is about comparing what normally happens to something unexpected in your cycles.

Common: The typical cycle is 28 days, but they vary quite a bit. Hormone levels control the cycle. Anything that affects the hormones can affect the cycle.
