So, the next steps are: were you sexually active during your fertile phase? Do you know how to prevent pregnancy? When was your last menstrual period and have they be on time or otherwise normal? Black blood means: It is old blood. Once a woman is pregnant, she does not have periods. However, if you are not positive if this bleeding was your period than take a home pregnancy test.
