Breast Lump: A breast lump might not be due to infection. Antibiotics are use for infections. Important to have that breast lump evaluated by your doctor. Although most breast lumps are benign, do not show disease, some breast lumps might be a sign of cancer. You might need a mammogram and/or breast ultrasound. Please do not delay and seek out medical attention as soon as possible.

Unlikely : The only way antibiotics would help is if the lump was secondary to a breast abscess--this would be very tender and associated with breast swelling and redness. Furthermore, antibiotics are rarely sufficient treatment for an abscess, which requires needle aspiration or even surgical drainage. Please see a breast surgeon--they can easily sort this out. Good luck.
