A member asked:

My one year old was burnt from the steam from the iron and now the burnt skin is coming off....is that normal?

Full Thickness Burn: This describes a full thickness burn. Your toddler needs medical attention especially if the burn is to the face, fingers, over a joint. Small children move especially fast- it is important to keep hot items away from them. Perhaps having your child in playpen or crib may be safest while ironing.
