A few: Under the tongue/floor of mouth and then soft palate. The "gum" area and inside the lips as well has the hard palate can also, but not as common.

Under your tongue: The most common location for oral cancer is under the sides of your tongue. Don't worry if you think it looks weird there. It will. Only your doctor ccan tell you if it is cancer.

Oral Cancer: Includes front 2/3 tongue, floor of mouth, gingival ridge, retromolar trigone, buccal mucosa and lip--sometimes lumped with skin. Throat (tonsil, base of tongue, larynx, hypopharynx, pyriform, post cricoid) is location for hpv not oral cavity. Don't smoke or chew. Know your partners.
