Medical Myths: In general body cleansing--which represents a significant change in the nutrition you ingest and the water or fluids you take--has nothing to do with health or healing. This practice, while often not harmful, can be dangerous to some with other medical conditions or to the young who need good daily nutrition for their health. I would ask your family doctor for reasons you are not feeling well.

Possibly: There are cleaning or detoox diets that some people have reported success with increased ebergy, better sleep and weight loss. As long as this is a regulated diet and provides enough fluids and essential nutrients, it should be safe.
