RowRowRowYourBoat: The so-called"normal range"is about 6-8 hours but some need more, others can tolerate less.And if you feel tired during the day it may mean the quality of your sleep is not optimal.Like maybe you have a breathing problem during sleep,or some meds or drugs are a problem Also,some people who have depression (even if they're not aware of it) want to sleep more but still feel tired.Time for a checkup!
