Osteopath: Mid-twenties female with chronic (4 mo) back pain needs evaluation & osteopath good place to start. Mri might be in order. Chronic soft tissue injuries (tendon, muscle, fascia, & ligament) not discovered by imaging & physical exam paramount. Ligament disorder of joint hypermobility syndrome to be considered in young female. Unfortunately, young adults oft unfairly stigmatized as "drug seeking".

Back pain: It sounds like you are experiencing back pain. The back pain can be caused by muscle strain, spinal stenosis, ruptured disc, nerve impingement ... You might benefit from heat pads, exercise, massage. If your pain is not improved, you should seek help from a pain specialist. You might benefit from a comprehensive evaluation and treatment.
