Cellulaze: Cellulite is an annoying problem to millions of women. It is caused by an uneven superficial fat layer as well as tiny ligaments that hold the skin down. The only effective and fda approved treatment is called cellulaze by cynosure. It is a one time minimally invasive procedure that permanently removes cellulite. To find a provider in your area go to www.Cynosure.Com.

Weight loss helps: Cellulite is very difficult to treat. If your weight is normal then the best option is laser of the cellulite. The treatments are very expensive and results vary. I would consult a plastic surgeon who has one of the new cellulite lasers.

Frustrating: Cellulite is a real challenge to treat - as currently our options are limited. Recently, two laser devices have received fda approval, and their before & after photos show some improvement, but not total resolution, of the cellulite appearance.

Lasers not cure: As dr. Fiala said, the company's before/after photos show some improvement, but personally I do not feel there is any cure yet for cellulite. The thinnest of people can have it, so it is not all weight loss, but certainly everyone should be encouraged to pursue diet and exercise to be as healthy as they can.

Difficult problem: The anatomy of cellulite is still being understood and ways to address it. It is a combination of localized fat, skin laxity, skin attachments to the underlying muscle, localized edema and more. Procedures to address these components have been developed and may produce improvements but cannot remove or cure it. This includes technologies such as endermologie or cellulaze or venus freeze and more.
