A member asked:

Do you think i should add calories burned from sleeping in my calorie counter?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Yes, you do burn calories when you are asleep. Actually, you burn more calories sleeping than watching tv. But do check on your calorie counter to see if it already calculates for the basal metabolic rate, which is just the minimum calories burned for simply being alive.
