Wait?: Your profile says 43 years old yet you are referring to a pediatrician (children's doctor). Besides that, if you are an adult, then by all means find a dermotologist either through recommendation of your physician or by favorable recommendations from your friends, family members or co-workers. As an adult, you are in charge of your healthcare decisions.

Acne: A simple benzoyl peroxide cream or wash can be the first step to improving your acne. Your doctor can also help with prescription medications. Many pediatricians feel very comfortable treating acne (and do it well) so i'd start there (sometimes that is the easier and faster way to get treatment). You and your doctor can discuss if a dermatologist is needed.
