A member asked:

I'm just now starting isotretinoin (accutane) and i was just curious as to when it normally starts to work for people?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Within 3 months: Acne can flare the first few months on isotretinoin. Most patients start to improve by 12 weeks. There are always a few patients who require more time to improve.
