Depends: If you are a woman trying to conceive then absolutely not. Otherwise, it does have a significant number of potential adverse effects which need to be monitored. There are other, safer acne medicines but they may not be effective for you. It is not a medicine I use first line, but if the acne has not responded well to anything else, you have to weigh the risk vs. Benefit.
