Throat Trauma: The power of a nerf gun isn't likely strong enough to cause significant damage to the cartilage structure of the larynx or voice box. You might bruise the skin or deeper soft tissues, but not likely any more than that. However, if you did have an injury to the cartilage of the voice box, you'd have a hoarse voice. The throat pain should get better soon. If it doesn't or you're hoarse, see ent.
