Diarrhea : Viral gastroenteritis may last up to a week, make you your child is drinking pedialyte or other electrolyte containing drinks. Slowly and gradually the stool consistency will become normal. Brat diet can be helpful. Stop all juices. If no improvement after a week better see his doctor.
