That's one option: We can't tell you what would be your options and certainly not your best option without actually seeing you in person, along with knowing your medical and dental history and seeing current x-rays of your teeth. Your own dentist should be able to explain all your options and make a recommendation.

Not Sure: Several options exist when a root canal fails. Most common option is to simply retreat the root canal. This is highly effective but if problems continue an apicoectomy may solve the problem. If all else fails an extraction and replacement with either a bridge or implant may be required. Only after a careful clinical and radiographic exam would you have your answer, see your dentist.

Yes: Yes implant is your best option. With an overall success rate of about 95% and almost 50 years of clinical research to back them up, dental implants are frequently the best treatment option for replacing missing teeth.
