Can you please explain why having an abortion is so emotionally scarring?

Abortion regrets: Not everyone is affected the same but when you think about it, as a pregnant person, you are terminating a life that is inside of you. Often done for convenience, people often wonder what that aborted fetus may have done with their life. For those that use it as birth control, they don't even give it a second thought. So its emotionally scarring for some, but certainly not all.

Grief: I believe that the decision to terminate a pregnancy is probably one of the most difficult to make.It is a potential life that one finds necessary to prevent from occurring. Grief must occur.
