A member asked:

I made scrambled eggs and there was black, burn residue on pan from many months ago. the eggs had small black specks in it and i ate them. any harm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: No harm. It's carbon, the same thing found in charcoal, doesn't taste good, but is non absorbable and sometimes used for medicinal purposes in case of poisoning.
