Possible: Could lead to infection, but most likely your digestive system will break down the eggs into the proteins & carbohydrates they are, then digest them. Please do not attempt this, there's no reason to put yourself at undue risk.

Does anyone have a cure for burps that smell like rotten eggs?
1 doctor answer • 1 doctor weighed in

Dr. TRUC DAO answered

Burp smelly: If the burping is not too frequent compared to other people, then it may not be a case of gastric reflux, which needs treatment. The odor of the burp is never an issue. What a person brings up into the mouth never taste good neither does it smell good, simply=what is below should stay below!

Genetic screening: Genetic testing such as cystic fibrosis, chromosomal analysis, fragile x, etc. These studies are send out and take longer to get back. These tests are a benefit to you and are being paid by the recipients. You should petition your center to give you the results to these tests for your records.
