Compression: Fracture is just that, the vertebral body gets crushed. It requires a lot of force, unless you have osteoporosis. Disc space is between the vertebral bodies, so your bones must have been ok on xray. If you are healthy otherwise at age 25, it is highly unlikely that you suffered compression fracture as a result of minor injury. It is also quite painful.

Probably don't: Unless you have suffered a significant trauma, a compression fracture in your age group is uncommon. It can be diagnosed with diagnostic imaging.
