Morning stiffness: Keep watching, and it you need to, manage it with nsaids and plenty of water. If this is serious rheumatoid arthritis or one of its family and is bad enough to treat with the big guns, you'll know soon enough. Fortunately, most folks like never become gravely sick. Labs play a seconary role to history and pysical. Stay proactice and informed, and good luck.

Xrays: X-rays if not already done--but you probably already did that. Consider EMG if painful/numb.
