Pain in ribcage: Pain in ribcage it is localised in the same area all the time can be due to coghing if you cough violently all the time.Commonest cause is inflamation in that area and intercostal neuralgia which is pain due to inflamation in the nerve which runs in the space between the ribs. But if the pain is not localised in the chest wall then you need to have further studies to rule out other causes.
