Done inside body: Typically invasaive procedures mean they are done by entering the body in someway..Down the throat, up the vaginal canal, or via rectum/anus etc... Some other procedure such central-line, cardiac catherization etc..--these procedures invade the body via blood vessels...

Invasive US: Invasive treatments are more risky than non-invasive ones. Invasive ultrasound means either intra vascular ( to check arteries or veins)or maybe intravaginally ultrasound to see small areas like the ovaries.
