Any other meds?: Usually rmsf is treated with antibiotics like Doxycycline which is actually helpful for acne. If there was any corticosteroid like Prednisone added to the treatment, that may cause acne breakouts. Usually those are monomorphous red pustules on face, chest & back. They will either subside by themselves after finishing steroids or will just need a topical antibiotic lotion. Please see dermatologist.
