Allergy vs. pink eye: You may have pink eye especially if there is some redness and mild discomfort (gritty feeling or pain) is present. Allergies are more likely in both eyes, though but can present with similar symptoms. If there is any history of eye injury, you will need to have your eye looked at immediately. Cool compresses may help. Visine eye drops may help allergic and pink eye discomfort.
