No, don't wait.: Anytime yoiu're passing blood, that's serious. Any recent trips outside usa?. You need colonoscopy to look inside colon. Any upper GI symptoms? Gas, acid symptoms. Muous discharge usually indicates an inflammatory process inside bowel. Get it checked out right away!
