Burning: Burning with urination is one of the most common symptoms and bad urine odor. Some people experience discomfort or pain in the low abdomen. If the infection is in the kidneys sever back pain and fever will be present. Both should be evaluated by a physician and treated. Sometimes if the infection is in the kidneys hospitalization is required.
