What good is a king heart moniter realy good for?

Find abnormal rhythm: Holter monitors and king of hearts monitors are used to record abnormal heart rhythms. Patients usually keep a diary or push a button on the device to correlate with any symptoms they have that might correlate to an abnormal heart rhythm. It is not alway possible to find an abnormal rhythm while checking an ekg in the doctor's office.

Arrhythmias: It is a monitor that records heart beats in order to identify arrhythmias (abnormal heart beats): either fast or slow, heart blocks, and correlate them with your symptoms.

Had a Holter monitor that showed that my heart rate dropped to 39 at night, but Holter was shown as normal. I always thought a heart rate that low was bad. In good shape, but don't do much exercise. Heart rate is normal range during day. Any concern?
