Is there an ideal combo of cardio/weightlifting if i want to lose weight? i.e. 60% cardio / 40% weights, or something along those lines?

M? or F? and AGE?: There is not a "one size fits all" answer. For men - i usually advise 70-80% strength training/building lean muscle and 20-30% interval cardio, for women - usually 50/50 strength training and interval cardio - but also the technique of 'muscle confusion" is valid - - mix up your exercise routines for best results.
