Hangovers: Are withdrawl from excess alcohol intake. Coupled with alterations in metabolism secondary to the alcohol, changes due to the toxins in alcohol, and often some element of dehydration. Alcohol can uncommonly cause hypoglycemia if taken even in moderation followed by a long period without food.
