Inflammation: You do not mention where your inflammation is. If it is in the joints, you need to consult a rheumatologist. There are many options safer than steroids to take long term to treat joint inflammation that are not nsaids. Also your NSAID allergy can be assessed by an allergist to determine which one you can take if any.
