Consult doctor: There may be other treatment modalities from other medication to physical therapy that can help you. See your doctor to help devise a treatment plan to help alleviate your chronic tendonitis.

Chronic tendonitst: Depends to some degree on the type of tendonitis. First, confirm the diagnosis. If truly chronic tendonitis, resting the body part may not help but possibly worth a try. Then, on the simple side try possibly therapeutic modalities. Consider steroid injection. Lastly, possibly surgery. Speak with a specialist. Good luck.
