It depends: And elevated heart rate is a symptom, not a diagnosis. In general, when a woman is pregnant and her heart rate increases. This alone is not a worrisome finding, especially if you are not having any symptoms. An ekg may be warranted to determine the specific heart rhythm causing the elevated heart rate. I would check with my primary provider. Good luck.
