There are options...: It depends if there are symptoms from the fibroids or not. They can watch the fibroids by ultrasound if they aren't causing bleeding or pain. If they are symptomatic, she could try hormonal therapy, uterine artery embolization, or surgery -either myomectomy to remove fibroids or total hysterectomy if she does not wish to preserve fertility.
