See below: Guess I am confused, as to why you would have your symptoms tested by evoked potential study which is basically worthless if you have a peripheral nerve problem. (although may help diagnose a spinal cord problem). The more appropriate test could be an EMG nerve conduction study. I think you need to sit down with your doctor and ask some direct questions. Sorry, but that's my thinking, so far.
