SKIN INFECTIONS: Both are skin infections.Impetigo are crusty lesions or bullae caused by strep or staph or both. Mrsa are caused by staph. Aureus resistant to methicillin rx. They are very contagious. Impetigo responds to bactroban (mupirocin) rx. Although it is transmitted by skin contact, kissing is not safe if there is systemic contamination.

Tell people to avoid: Do not invite anyone to "kiss my buttock" unless you are truly angry & prepared to make an enemy for life. Nothing vague about impetigo. Frequently impetigo is due to MRSA bacteria.
