DX before RX ness.: Intense chest pain can be the result of GERD vs esophageal spasms or costochondritis. sometimes associated with dysphagia. DX test include Barium Swallow, EGD & Esophageal Manometry. RX for DES once Dxed may include options of BOTOX,Drugs to relax Esophagus muscles, Use of Pepermint oil w/water, Dx by symptoms are difficult, confirmatio nessacary . Heart disease should be ruled out.
