Dr. Tracy Berg answered
General Surgery 32 years experience
Diet after surgery: Once you are recovered from your surgery, 2 to 4 weeks, your diet can return to normal. However, if you take this surgery as an opportunity to improve your diet then try lowering fat, lowering portion size, and increase frequency of food/snacks. Free app "my fitness pal" may help. Be well.
