Hard to find: You won't actually find a real study. No serious scientist would try since there are so many confounding variables. Heavy sugar eaters are probably exercising less, taking in less well-balanced nutrients, more obese, and generally more self-indulgent. And the correlation will be weak. There's no law against saying "research proves..." on an entertainment "health" site without giving references.
