What should i do when blood sugar goes down to 26?

Need sugar: I assume you are a diabetic on medication that causes low sugars (insulin, sulfonylureas). Sugars this low are emergencies and require eating sugar (sugar tabs, fruit juice, regular soda). If the person is unable to eat, you need to call 911 or give glucagon injection. The cause for the low sugar then needs to be determined and avoided. If you are not diabetic, this test was likely an error.
