Had arthoscopic shoulder surgery week ago and now arm and hand very swollen. how long does this last?

Not normal post-op: If your arm and hand are markedly swollen, that is not a normal complication of the surgery. Call the surgeon. Make sure you have not developed phlebitis in the arm.
