What kind of effects did breast feeding for so long (4 years) have on me, if any?

Nothing bad: The main affect you may or may not notice would be cosmetic and would vary based on if all four years were in sequence or spread out over several children. There may be some benefit to you as far as female health is concerned but there is no doubt you provided a significant benefit to your child or children. Kudos to you and remember gravity does not discriminate.
